In Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, a case has been registered against Wasim Ahmed, who runs a comedy YouTube channel named Round 2 Hell Channel, and his associates for inciting religious sentiments. Wasim and his associates are accused of insulting Hindu deities by using the name Radha with wrong words in their videos. UP Police has started advance action by registering a case under serious sections at Pakbra police station.
YouTube channel Round 2 Hell is operated from Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. Round 2 Hell’s YouTube channel has about 27 million subscribers. The said video is said to be four years old. In which offensive words have been used using the name Radha.
After the news of objection to this video, Round 2 Hell has also apologized on its official Instagram account, clarifying about this video.
Moradabad SP City Akhilesh Bhadauria, while addressing the media on this matter, said, “Yesterday an episode came to notice that a video was uploaded by Round 2 Hell. It is being told about the video that a communal comment has been made towards people of a particular religion. Due to which religious sentiments have been hurt. In that regard, a prosecution (lawsuit) police station in that regard has been registered in Pakbada.”
SP City further said that Waseem, who runs Round 2 Hell, has been called to the police station for questioning. He said that primarily a case has been registered against Wasim, the owner of the channel, we are getting information about his associates.
On the matter, Wasim’s cousin said that he has come to know about this matter. Video is 4 years old. Crores of people have been watching it for four years, there is no offensive anywhere. Just nowadays people want things to create controversy that’s why they are doing this.
So far no one has been arrested in the case. Police say that the matter is being processed properly.
