Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut held a press conference on the increasing demand for Anil Deshmukh’s resignation following a letter from former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh. Sanjay Raut said that if the government is ready for a proper investigation then why is there a demand for repeated resignation. At the same time, senior NCP leader and minister Nawab Malik has also supported the matter of not resigning.
Sanjay Raut warns BJP
Not only this, Sanjay Raut said in a threatening manner that an attempt is being made to impose President’s rule in the state of Maharashtra using central agencies. For those who are doing such work, it will not be right. Raut further said that if thought so, I warn them that this fire will burn them too.
Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik said that Parambir Singh has accused Anil Deshmukh after he stepped down from his post. An inquiry will be conducted against Anil Deshmukh, but there is no question of resigning on the basis of the allegations in the letter.
Apart from this, Sanjay Raut said that NCP chief Sharad Pawar has decided that the allegations against Anil Deshmukh should be investigated. Raut said that if we keep taking resignation of all, then it will be difficult to run the government.
Sanjay Raut said that as long as the Chief Minister is Uddhav Thackeray, all the cases will be properly investigated. Raut has clearly stated that the Mumbai Police Commissioner is being run with a gun on his shoulder and the opposition party is misleading people.
