“You went to jail in Rs 100 Cr extortion, not this ‘unemployed journalist'”: Senior journalist Ajit Anjum shuts down Sudhir Chaudhary

A video interview of senior journalist Ajit Anjum has sparked controversy between him and ‘Zee News’ anchor Sudhir Chaudhary on Twitter. Responding to a user’s tweet, Sudhir Chaudhary called Ajit Anjum an ‘unemployed journalist’, to which the senior journalist gave a befitting reply and shuts down the Zee News editor. At the same time, now Chaudhary has also come under the target of social media users, people are trolling him and criticizing him fiercely.

Actually, Ajit Anjum recently shared a video on his YouTube channel, in which he is seen asking questions to an elderly villager of UP. During the interview, the elder praised PM Modi, CM Yogi and the BJP government. He said that earlier Pakistan used to consider Kashmir as its part, but after the abrogation of Article 370, it has become a part of India completely.

At the same time, on the question of employment, the elderly villager clearly said that people are getting employment and employment has also increased in agriculture. During this, the old man claimed that he watches Zee News and Sudhir Chaudhary’s show and he came to know about it from there.

Sharing the video of his interview, Ajit Anjum tweeted in Hindi, “Kashmir came to India after the removal of 370, it was in Pakistan earlier. Listen to the words of wisdom from a staunch Modi supporter and a die-hard audience of ZEE NEWS. Inflation doesn’t mean anything to them, even if diesel becomes Rs 200. Everything is accepted for Modi Ji.”

Reacting to the video, Sudhir Chaudhary wrote, “Whoever this man is in the guise of a journalist, he tried his best to put his words in the mouth of an old villager. When he didn’t, he made fun of him. In the end, he got upset. These people consider the villagers to be illiterate and stupid, whereas it is the opposite. These unemployed journalists are burning in the fire of jealousy.”

Responding to Sudhir Chaudhary’s tweet, Ajit Anjum wrote, “Chaudhary Ji, this is the same man in whose office you were expelled from the editors’ body on charges of extorting 100 crores. You were shamelessly defending your blackmailing even after everything was on camera. You went to jail in extortion, not this ‘unemployed journalist’.”

In another tweet, he wrote, “And Chaudhary Ji, this is the same man in whose office you had twice come to the editors to make shameless arguments in your explanation. We all saw the video of 100 crore blackmailing then. We all rejected your argument and got out of BEA. I will kick hundred times a job like Chaudhary of blackmailing instincts.”

On this tweet of Ajit Anjum, all social media users including senior journalists are also giving their reactions. Abhisar Sharma, former anchor and senior journalist of ABP News, wrote in his tweet, “A befitting reply. This man is a stigma in the name of journalism. By defaming a teacher, he had made him shunned by the crowd. The channel of this Tihar specialist had to remain closed for a month. Not only a stupid journalist but also a human being.”
