Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati, the priest of Shiv Shakti Dham temple in Dasna, Ghaziabad, is often in the news for his controversial statements. However, one such statement of his has now increased his trouble. A video of him is becoming fiercely viral, in which he is seen making derogatory comments about women leaders of BJP. The BJP leaders who were once in his support regarding this video of him have opened a front against him and demanded action.
Actually Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati was sitting for some live interview. What he said before the start of the interview was recorded by someone standing there and made it viral. The viral video is being told of 4th July. After it went viral, there was a ruckus on it.
After the video went viral, many BJP leaders surrounded Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati. National Minister of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga, tweeting the video of Narasimhanand, tagged NCW President Rekha Sharma and UP Police and demanded action.
‘Earlier the women who were in politics were Rakhail of some leader or the other’
In the video which went viral on social media, Narsinghanand can be seen calling women in politics ‘rakhail’ (mistress). He said, “The women you see in politics is or had been rakhail (mistress) of at least one male politician. If she is not a mistress, she is relative of an influential political leader”. He further alleged mistresses existed during Samajwadi Party rule. However, male politicians could not promote mistresses during Bahujan Samajwadi Party rule.
Venom spewed against women leaders of BJP
Yati Narsinghanand further added, “Then came the government of ‘honest politicians’. Now the women you see in BJP… if she compromises with one politician, the other politician will not do their work unless she compromises with him as well. If she wants to get some work done from a third politician, she has to compromise there as well. This is politics. The country has reached to this point. The women roaming in political arenas, everyone is enjoying.”
Women’s Commission wrote a letter to the DGP for FIR and arrest
Now the National Commission for Women has also taken cognizance of Bagga’s tweet. The Women’s Commission tweeted, ‘NCW has taken cognizance of the matter. National President Rekha Sharma has written a letter to the DGP of Uttar Pradesh Police to register an FIR against Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati and arrest her immediately.
