The power struggle in Afghanistan has reached its peak. The battle for Kabul is now between government forces and the rebel Taliban. On Friday, the Taliban struck Musandi in Afghanistan and captured four other cities in southern Afghanistan, including Kandahar and Helmand. The Taliban, meanwhile, has warned that any attempt to help Afghanistan by India could have dire consequences. However, now BJP MP Subramanian Swamy has targeted Modi’s trusted aide, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and National Security Adviser Ajit Doval.
BJP MP Subramanian Swamy has targeted these two important people on Twitter. “Will the bureaucrat duo Jaishankar and Doval ever apologize to the nation for the mess they have landed India in the international scene? They were given a free hand because Modi trusts politicians not peer level politicians. Now we are in a mess with all our neighbours.”, said Swamy.
In the wake of the capture of four more cities, including Kandahar and Helmand, Mohammad Sohil Sahin, a spokesman for the Taliban’s Doha office in Qatar has also threatened India in a discussion with ANI. The Taliban has warned India not to try to help Afghanistan. “If they (India) come to Afghanistan militarily & have their presence, I think that will not be good for them. They’ve seen the fate of military presence in Afghanistan of other countries, so it is an open book for them”, said Sahin.
Speaking further, Sahin commented on India’s assistance to Afghanistan. “They (India) have been helping the Afghan people or national projects. They did it in the past. I think that is something which is appreciated, “said Sahin, referring to the role of the India.
