Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) spokesperson and Maharashtra government minister Nawab Malik, while holding a press conference on Tuesday, hit back at the allegations of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Devendra Fadnavis, saying, he is connecting me with the culprits of the bomb blasts and the underworld. Trying to tarnish my image. With this he said that tomorrow he will expose the underworld link of Devendra Fadnavis.
Responding to the BJP leader’s allegations, Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik said, “Devendra Fadnavis is trying to malign my image by connecting me to blast convicts and the underworld. They did same by saying that drug was recovered from my place, will send him legal notice.”
Nawab Malik further said, “An atmosphere was created that Nawab Malik has links with the bomb blast accused. Today, you put some papers in front of the people regarding a place that I bought 1.5 lakh feet of land through the Mall Mafia. I think your informers are weak players.”
With this he said, “I will drop a hydrogen bomb tomorrow in connection with Devendra Fadnavis. I will expose Devendra Fadnavis’s underworld links. Tomorrow at 10 o’clock I will give information about how he (Devendra Fadnavis) had kept the entire city hostage through the underworld while being the Chief Minister.”
Let us tell you that, earlier Devendra Fadnavis had said that, “Nawab Malik has dealings with the people of the underworld, who have been convicted in the ’93 Mumbai blasts case. He bought land from the culprits of the case at a price less than the market price. Was this deal done to avoid confiscation of prime land under the TADA Act?
The former Chief Minister of Maharashtra further said, “Nawab Malik, why did you buy land from the criminals of Mumbai, the bomb blasters in Mumbai? What was it that because of which the criminals of Mumbai gave you three acres of land on LBS Road for Rs 20 lakh?”
The BJP leader claimed, “Four properties have 100% underworld angle, I will give all the evidence I have to the competent authority. I will also give all this evidence to Nationalist Congress Party President Sharad Pawar so that he also knows what his ministers have fed.”
