After India’s loss, anchor Sudhir Chaudhary had questioned the loss, comparing the Pakistan Cricket Board and BCCI. A user named Vijay Phulara replied sharing pictures of Sudhir Chaudhary with Pervez Musharraf and Nawaz Sharif and wrote, “The game should be played with sportsmanship, not hatred.” Responding to this, Chaudhary tweeted, “These two photos you have put here are proof that when I met Nawaz Sharif and Pervez Musharraf, I met with the intention of sweetening the relationship. Met only to increase the sportsmanship spirit of the game. I did not have hatred in my mind even then but later realized it is not possible. Otherwise why would have I met?”
Wildly popular parody account Rofl Gandhi, known for taking digs at all and sundry, gave a strong reply to Sudhir Chaudhary. Rofl replied, “On behalf of which municipality you were making cordial relations with Pakistan? Who gave you the responsibility? Boycotting as per convenience and doing business with Pakistanis occationally has been the specialty of you and your Chandra from Zee.”
