WHO exposes Ramdev’s lies, said – We did not approve Coronil

Another lie of Yoga guru Baba Ramdev has been caught. He claimed that the corona drug Coronil, made by his company Pantjali, has been approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) to sell in 150 countries.

Now the WHO itself has confirmed in a tweet that it has not given any such permission.

The WHO tweeted that it has neither reviewed the impact of any traditional medicine nor given any certificate to the treatment of Covid-19.

The WHO has confirmed this when claims were being made on behalf of Patanjali that its drug Coronil has been allowed to sell in 150 countries for the treatment of corona.

Patanjali claimed that Coronil received a certificate from the Ministry of AYUSH under the WHO certification scheme.

You should know that on Friday, the corona drug, Coronil has been launched by Patanjali. The drug was launched by Baba Ramdev in the presence of Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari in a press conference.

Ramdev’s claims

Ramdev claimed that this drug from the Patanjali Research Institute is WHO certified. WHO has given it a certificate of GMP i.e. ‘Good Manufacturing Practice’.

Along with this, he had also reiterated his claim in an interview given to news channel News Nation. Ramdev said that Coronil has been approved by DCGI. Also, the WHO has approved the sale of Coronil in 150 countries.

In the interview, he further said that anti-India forces do not want the Corona medicine of Ayurveda made in India. That is why there were protests earlier. Now everyone is saying that this work should have been done earlier. Patanjali will continue to work for the good of humanity.
