In its statement, Whiteland Corporation Ltd said: “A certain section of the media have reported news involving the name of Whiteland Corporation in the ‘Land for Jobs’ scam, where the company has been accused of being beneficiary in political money. This is prima facie, and seemingly with malicious intent to damage the company’s reputation and business.

Since the CBI raid, Tejashwi Yadav was continuously denying that he is not a shareholder in the company of Urban Cubes Mall in Gurugram. Tejashwi Yadav had also denied that his family had any stake in the mall in Gurugram. Tejashwi also attacked BJP and CBI for this.

Earlier on Thursdayd, Tejashwi Yadav lashed out at media for running propaganda news against him., “On the orders of its masters, the mall of Gurugram’s Whiteland Company, which ‘Godi Media’ is saying as mine, has been inaugurated and appreciated by Haryana’s BJP MP and Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. The company’s major shareholder Navdeep and the Directors have a very good relationship with CM Khattar. Now do their CBI investigation,” Yadav tweeted in Hindi.

Not only this, Tejashwi Yadav had accused BJP of misusing investigative agencies like CBI, ED and Income Tax Department regarding this whole incident. Tejashwi Yadav had said, “There was news in the media that I’m a shareholder in the company of Urban Cubes Mall in Gurugram, while this company was formed on 12 February 2021. If I’m a shareholder in this company, where is my name? Now if I talk about 100% shareholding, then where is me in this whole process?” With this, he had shared many documents related to a company named Whiteland Private Limited. In which he clearly said that he has nothing to do with this whole episode.
