According to Bollywood Tadka, former Miss India Universe Tanushree Dutta has accused Vivek Agnihotri of #MeToo. In the year 2018, Tanushree had accused Vivek Agnihotri of asking her to take off her clothes and dance. Alleging #MeToo, the actress referred to an incident that happened during the shooting of her 2005 debut film ‘Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets’.

Tanushree Dutta had said, “In a scene of the film on the set, the film’s actor Irrfan Khan had to give a face expression after seeing me. At that time the director of the film, Vivek Agnihotri, told me ‘Kapde Utar Kar Nacho (Take off your clothes and dance)’ even when I was not in that scene.’

The actress had further said, “I was surprised to hear this from the director, but before I could answer there, Irrfan Khan immediately interrupted the director and said what are you saying, she does not need to do this, I know acting. Not only this, other actors of the film Sunil Shetty were also present there. He also interrupted Vivek Agnihotri for this. Sunil Shetty, reacting to the director’s statement, said- ‘Can I come there to give a hint?’ “

Tanushree Dutta also said that she had high fever while shooting. She requested the director to switch off the AC. On this, the director told her, “Should we all die in the heat because you are feeling cold?” However, Vivek Agnihotri refuted Tanushree’s allegations by issuing a statement on social media. He had called all her claims “false and absurd”.
