‘What the f**k is Micro Economy’: R Madhavan faces brutal trolling for his gibberish at Cannes to praise PM Modi

R Madhavan faces brutal trolling for his gibberish at Cannes: R Madhavan was recently called out by netizens for being a ‘hypocrite’ after the actor spoke about how the flourishing digital economy has paved the way for a ‘New India’. While addressing the press at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival, the actor stated that while there was a furore when Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced ‘micro-economy and digital currency’, the whole story has changed in a couple of years and India has become one of the largest users of micro-economy.

Actually, the official handle of Union Minister Anurag Thakur posted a clip of Madhavan discussing India’s growth in the digital world. However, he faced a backlash from social media users, who took to Twitter to slam him for becoming the propaganda machinery of the government. At the same time, they questioned his knowledge on economics for using terms like ‘micro-economy’ and ‘digital-currency’ in the video.

Calling out Madhavan, a user tweeted, “What the f**k is microeconomy and india became one of the largest users of micro economy. First no other representatives at #Cannes2022 are bootlicking their leader from international and secondly you have no f****** idea what you are saying @ActorMadhavan”

Some netizens even tried to give him a Gyan on economy while others went on to say how pathetic to see celebrities like him being taken to a major film festival and then being made to sing hosannas to Supreme Leader.
