“We should be thankful to PM for giving ‘free ration’ to 80 crore poor”: BJP MP Nishikant Dubey

Referring to the poor condition of the worldwide economy after the coronavirus pandemic, the Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday claimed that even in this situation, the Modi government is giving ‘free rations’ to 80 crore poor. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey also targeted the opposition-ruled state governments for freebies and called it one of the reasons behind the rising debt and inflation on the governments.

Participating in the discussion on the subject of ‘price rise’ under Rule 193 in the Lok Sabha, Dubey said, “If we see Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Singapore, everywhere inflation is rising and jobs are getting lost. Amid such a situation if the poor are getting two-time meal free of cost then shouldn’t we thank the PM.”

Sharing a clip from the speech of Nishikant Dubey from the Parliament, journalist Aadesh Rawal tweeted, “Our Prime Minister is giving free fund food to 80 crore poor of the country. Shouldn’t the Prime Minister be congratulated?”

However, Nishikant Dubey is getting trolled for his “free fund” statement. People are giving strong reactions on this on social media. Former MP from Bihar Pappu Yadav tweeted, “The MP who robbed the most of free funds is now asking the population of 80 crores to become pets from the public for free fund food!”

A user named Rofl Gandhi tweeted, “BJP MP Dubey is saying that 80 crore people of the country are eating free fund food, why don’t they do ‘Wah Modi Wah’ while they eat.”

A user named Gaurav Pandhi wrote, “In 2004, 400 million people in India were poor, which decreased to less than 27 crore in 2014, while the population continued to grow. Today in 2022, the number of poor people in the country has increased to 80 crores. Now whom should we blame for this achievement, @nishikant_dubey Ji?”

Nishikant Dubey said in the house that after Covid, the condition of many countries is bad, jobs are being snatched everywhere and inflation is increasing, even in that situation this country is changing and people are happy here. The villages, poor, tribal, farmers, everyone is getting respect here!
