“We need to create caste system in USA also”: Swami Nischalanand Saraswati in response to Mohan Bhagwat’s remarks

Puri’s Shankaracharya Swami Nischalanand Saraswati has now objected to RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s statement regarding Pandits and caste system. During a religious program he said that the Varna system is a gift of Brahmins. He said that the ancestors of all Sanatani Hindus were Brahmins only. He had come to participate in a three-day religious conference organized at Lal Bagh in Jagdalpur.

Swami Nischalanand Saraswati stated that Brahma ji is the first known Brahmin, as described in scriptures. According to the Swami, Brahmins were the sole creators of science and the arts. He emphasized the importance of maintaining balance between education, defense, and other services and warned that if the Sanatan system is not followed, many systems will fall apart.

Swami criticized the RSS for lacking a book of its own and possessing little knowledge of scriptures. He claimed that the caste system was created by pundits, not by fools, and that even today, people still turn to Brahmins in India to solve their problems, including those of the UN.

He stated that there is a need to create a caste system in Western countries like America, as Sanatan Dharma does not hold significant influence in those regions. He added that countries like America and France lack the varna system and therefore, there is a need to establish an equivalent to the Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas, and Shudras.

Shankaracharya opined that Prime Minister Modi does not support Hindutva. He stated that Modi will only be seen as supportive of Hindus when he stops referring to cow protectors as “Gunda”. He acknowledged Modi’s worldwide reputation for diplomacy but suggested that he should introspect. At the same time, he praised Yogi Adityanath for his discipline and governing abilities.

Swami Nischalanand claimed that Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham is preserving Hindutva. To learn more, he advised visiting Shastri. It should be noted that Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati also challenged the statement made by the RSS chief and stated that God himself mentioned the creation of varnas in the Gita.
