Rebel Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde and his supporters are staying at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Guwahati, Assam amid the ongoing turmoil in Maharashtra politics. Shinde claimed that he currently has 40 MLAs in Guwahati, including 12 independents. Altogether he has 52 MLAs. Meanwhile, a video of Eknath Shinde has surfaced in which he is staggering in front of the media.

This video, which is going viral on social media. In the video, Shinde appears to be in a drunk state. He is surrounded by the media and seems to be unable to stand up properly. He is not even able to answer the questions of the media properly. This video is widely shared on social media.

While sharing the video, Supreme Court lawyer Prashant Bhushan tweeted, “Rebel Shiv Sena leader Shinde. Was drunk on power or just drunk?”

On the other hand, the Deputy Speaker of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly has issued disqualification notices to 16 rebel Shiv Sena MLAs of Eknath Shinde faction. These MLAs have to file written replies by June 27, 2022. The pro-Shinde MLAs have named their faction as ‘Shiv Sena Balasaheb’.

After which, in the party’s national executive meeting at Shiv Sena Bhavan, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray said that they can do whatever they want, I will not interfere in their affairs. They can take their own decision, but no one should use Balasaheb Thackeray’s name.

On the question of rebel MLAs, Aditya Thackeray, son of CM Uddhav Thackeray, said that we will not forget the betrayal committed by the rebel MLAs of Shiv Sena. We will definitely win.

On the other hand, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has asked the rebel MLAs not to seek votes in the name of Shiv Sena. Rebel MLA Deepak Kesarkar said, “We will definitely think about what Sanjay Raut said. Our name is also Shiv Sena, if they feel that nothing should be added to it, then we will call it Shiv Sena, we will respect them.” Deepak Kesarkar said that no party is paying our expenses. Our leader Eknath Shinde called us and we will come here, stay and pay the expenses. BJP is not behind all this.
