War Updates: Russian army retreats in Kharkiv, Ukraine President Zelensky says ‘Good decision, pushed back in Izium too’

Some important information has come to the fore in the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. The first is that Ukraine has captured the main railway city of Kupiyansk in the northeast. The second information has been given by the Russian Defense Ministry. It has said that the Russian army has been asked to temporarily withdraw from the Kharkiv region. Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky welcomed the Russian military’s decision to withdraw, calling it “a good decision”. Ukrainian forces have entered Russia’s heavily occupied Izium.

The administration quoted a member of the Russian parliament, Evgeny Evtushenko, as saying that the local headquarters would be moved across the border to the Russian city of Belgorod. For the safety of civilians, the Russian army has decided to leave the city.
