Vivek Agnihotri reacts to Elon Musk’s tweet: SpaceX founder Elon Musk recently announced on Twitter that if he bought Twitter, he would make public the algorithm that determines what people see on their timelines. “Specifically, he said he wants to make the algorithm that recommends whether a tweet gets promoted or demoted ‘open source,’ or available for the public to view and improve upon.

The Kashmir Files director jumped the bandwagon and connected Musk’s ‘open source’ idea with Hinduism on Twitter. However, he got brutally trolled on the microblogging site.
Tesla CEO, who inked a $44 billion deal to buy Twitter on April 25, on Sunday warned users about being manipulated by the algorithm “in ways they don’t realise”. He also shared a way to fix this while suggesting that ‘open source’ is the way to go to solve both trust and efficacy on his Twitter handle.
Agnihotri while retweeting Musk’s Tweet said, “Good to see @elonmusk going Hindu way for Hindu civilisation is the only Open Source civilisation in the world.”
However, his tweet didn’t land well in front of the masses as netizens brutally trolled the director for bringing Hinduism to compare ‘Open Source’. Later, Agnihotri deleted this tweet from his Twitter handle.
One user said, “What is the difference between @vivekagnihotri and donkey? Donkey knows he is a donkey but Vivek doesn’t. It is our duty, to tell him the reality.”
“Let’s just hope Elon doesn’t read it…he is going to struggle to understand,” a user replied.
Another user wrote, “Me believing any random thing my crush says as his declaration of love for me.”
