Viral Video: Bhojpuri singer Neha Singh Rathore counters Ravi Kishan’s ‘UP Mei Sab Ba’ praising Yogi

Ahead of the Uttar Pradesh elections, the state’s stirring allegations and counter-allegations have started appearing in the songs and music as well. Gorakhpur MP and actor Ravi Kishan has released the song ‘UP Mei Sab Ba’ in Bhojpuri in support of BJP and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

While Ravi Kishan has tweeted a teaser of the song, the entire song has been uploaded on YouTube.

In this music video, Ravi Kishan can be seen narrating the work done by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Uttar Pradesh.

On the lines of Mumbai’s ‘rap battle’, UP saw ‘Song Battle’. In response to “UP Mein Sab Ba”, Bhojpuri singer and social media celebrity Neha Singh Rathore released a song of her own, ‘UP Mein Ka Ba’, taking a dig at the claims made by Ravi Kishan in his song.

It is known that Neha Singh Rathore became famous in 2020 when the Modi government announced a total lockdown in the country and during this time she released the rap song ‘Bihar Mein Ka Ba’.

Ravi Kishan paints a picture of ‘Development’ and ‘Victory’ in his music video, and it looks somewhat like a report card for Yogi’s five-year tenure in UP.

Ravi Kishan tries to explain what Yogi Adityanath-led BJP government has done in UP since 2017 and why the people of UP should bring Adityanath and the party back to power.

In the song, Ravi Kishan is seen grooving on issues like infrastructure development, putting criminals in jail and providing ration, employment to the needy. Neha Singh Rathore has questioned these claims in her song.

Rathore, with her song ‘UP Mein Ka Ba’, has raised issues like Hathras rape, COVID-19, unemployment and the Lakhimpur Kheri tragedy that happened last year.

Rathore questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi calling him a ‘chowkidar’ and asked who was responsible for the Lakhimpur Kheri tragedy. In her song, Neha Singh Rathore also talks about the dead bodies of COVID-19 victims flowing in the Ganges.

Rathore’s song is being shared widely by opposition leaders and social media influencers.
