Uttar Pradesh: BJP leader arrested for sexually exploiting minor children

The city vice president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jalaun district of Uttar Pradesh has been arrested by the police on Wednesday for allegedly sexually abusing two minor children. The BJP expelled its official Ram Bihari Rathore from the party after this news came to light. BJP leader is in the police custody.

According to the report of the news agency PTI, the district’s Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Awadhesh Singh said that on the complaint of two minor children, Rambihari Rathore (65), living in Bhagat Singh Nagar of Konch town, was booked for sexual exploitation. Has been arrested Singh said that Rathore is a retired accountant and is associated with a political party(BJP).

The ASP said that on the basis of the complaint, the police conducted raids and recovered laptop, DVD and hard disk from his house, which contains many pornographic videos and the BJP leader is seen doing pornography in them.

BJP District President Ramendra Singh said that Rambihari Rathore, arrested in the case of child sexual abuse, was a vice-president in the BJP city unit of Konch town. He said, he has been dismissed from the post and primary membership of the party as soon as this matter comes to cognizance.
