Elon Musk on Indian Talent: Tesla owner and world’s richest businessman Elon Musk on Monday congratulated Parag Aggarwal of India, who was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of microblogging platform Twitter. Responding to the tweet, Musk hailed ‘Indian talent!’.
Musk was responding to a tweet by the CEO of Stripe- Patrick Collison. Collison tweeted, “Google, Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, Palo Alto Networks, and now Twitter run by CEOs who grew up in India. Wonderful to watch the amazing success of Indians in the technology world and a good reminder of the opportunity America offers to immigrants. Congratulations Parag.”

Speaking about the same and recognising Indian talent, Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweeted, “USA benefits greatly from Indian talent!”
Working with Twitter since 2011, Parag is a graduate of IIT Bombay and holds a doctorate degree in computer science from Stanford University. At the time when Parag started working in Twitter, there were only one thousand employees in the company.
Parag took over as the CTO (Chief Technology Officer) of the company in 2017. Prior to joining Twitter, Parag worked at AT&T Labs, Microsoft and Yahoo. At present, most of the global technology companies are headed by people of Indian origin. Satya Nadella is the CEO of Microsoft and Sundar Pichai is running Google. Now Parag Aggarwal will take Twitter forward.
