Twitter permanently suspends Kangana Ranaut’s Twitter account after comments on West Bengal

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has been in discussion for her statements on the Bengal elections for the last 2 days. Kangana has also made many tweets in the last 2 days which were being described as ‘objectionable’. Now Kangana’s Twitter account has been suspended forever.

Kangana Ranaut, who was annoyed by BJP’s defeat in Bengal elections, was constantly tweeting. Some of Kangana’s tweets were described by Twitter users as extremely objectionable and encouraging of violence. Before the account was suspended, on Tuesday 4 May, Kangana also made an objectionable tweet in which she compared Mamata Banerjee to Tadka without naming her. Many people had reported Kangana’s tweets, after which Twitter has suspended Kangana’s account while taking action. Twitter has said in its official statement that Kangana Ranaut was continuously violating her ‘Hateful Conduct Policy’ and hence her account has been suspended forever.

Let us tell you that Kangana in a tweet in which she appealed to PM Narendra Modi to come in the form of 2000 for the violence that took place after the results of the Bengal elections. Twitter users linked it to the riots in Gujarat, calling Kangana’s tweet an act of violence and incitement.

Earlier, Kangana Ranaut’s Twitter account was handled by her sister Rangoli Chandel. A lot of objectionable tweets were also made from this account, after which it was also suspended. Then a new account named @KanganaTeam was created which was taken over by Kangana last year.
