Film actress Kangana Ranaut is once again in the news for her controversial statements regarding the country’s independence. Political parties in Bihar are constantly targeting Kangana. Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav’s elder son and former Health Minister Tej Pratap Yadav has raged on film actress Kangana. Tej Pratap Yadav has given his response on social media. Kangana Ranaut, while commenting on the country’s independence in a TV show, said that the freedom that we got in 1947 was alms. The film actress had also said that true freedom came in 2014. Tej Pratap Yadav has given a strong reaction to this statement of Kangana.
‘Kangana on Tej Pratap Yadav’s target’
Tej Pratap Yadav has targeted Kangana Ranaut by posting a picture of her on his Twitter hande. He wrote, “when some people were apologizing to the British, the brave men of the country were kissing the noose. So, to say that the country has got freedom after 2014, is an insult to the martyrs, they should not be humiliated.” He took a jibe at Kangana and wrote, “If sacrifices had not been made for freedom, you would have been still cleaning shoes in an Englishman’s house.”
There is a continuous protest in Bihar regarding Kangana’s controversial statement regarding the country’s independence. Before Tej Pratap Yadav, his sister Rohini Acharya and former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi have made a mark. Opposing Kangana’s statement, Rohini wrote on the internet, “The one who finds lives of the martyrs alms that fake ‘Jhansi ki Ranu’ looks like a traitor.” Earlier, Hindustani Awami Morcha President and former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi had demanded withdrawal of Padma Shri award.
At the same time, BJP has also expressed dissatisfaction with Kangana Ranaut’s statement. BJP national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia has posted on Koo and said that we do not agree with Kangana Ranaut’s statement.
