Bollywood’s best film director Anurag Kashyap is in discussion about his film ‘Dobaaraa’ these days. Taapsee Pannu starrer This film is a Hindi remake of Spanish movie ‘Miraj’. Anurag Kashyap recently said in an interview to the English newspaper The Indian Express that in today’s era, filmmakers are in awe of the boycott trend of films. Any producer is afraid to invest money for a film with any religious issue and political topic. If I had made films like Gangs of Wasseypur and Black Friday according to the current times, I don’t think I would have been successful in that. Everyone is being boycotted, even if it is on films, Indian cricket team and political parties, everyone is being boycotted.
Anurag further said on the continuous flop of Bollywood films that the country is sinking. The world is sinking, and you are talking about Bollywood. There is a heat wave in Europe, and the whole world is drowning. The ice caps are melting, you probably won’t be able to see the Maldives after a while.
The director further said that we are living in a very life time. Even after two years of death, Sushant Singh Rajput is still in trends every day. It’s a strange time when everyone is being boycotted. Hashtags are being used on social media as a weapon against the film industry.

Initially it was being told as Hindi remake of Kill Bill but Anurag had termed it as a mere rumour. Apart from this, he is also working on the film Gulab Jamun.
