Taapsee Pannu gives befitting response to trolls calling her ‘Mard ki Body’ in ‘Rashmi Rocket’

Taapsee Pannu is one of those Bollywood actresses who express their opinion in an outspoken manner. Be it commenting on an issue or teaching a lesson to the trollers, Taapsee does not lag behind. Recently the trailer of her upcoming film ‘Rashmi Rocket’ was released. Taapsee is playing the role of an athlete in the film. He has also worked hard to get an athletic body. She also appears in the trailer. However, some users started trolling her on social media and while making fun of her body, some called her a man and some called her transgender.

Taapsee Pannu posted a video on her social media account which has screenshots of the trollers’ comments. One user had said- ‘Don’t feel bad if you are called a girl with a man’s body’. One user wrote- ‘Looking like a man. Intention to change gender?’ Another user wrote- ‘Why are you looking like a man?’

Taapsee had also replied to a user on Twitter a few days ago when he commented on her picture and told her a man-like body. The user had commented on the picture of Taapsee in which she is standing with her back to the camera and she is flaunting an athletic body. Actually, the film draws attention to this issue in which discrimination is done on the basis of gender.

Taapsee’s reply to the trollers
Responding to the trollers, Taapsee Pannu tweeted, “Heartfelt thank you From yours Truly. But there are many women who actually hear this daily for no fault of theirs. An ode to all the athletes who give their sweat and blood to the sport and their nation and still get to hear this.” At the end of the video she also thanked trollers. She says “Thank you so much for validating my work for ‘Rashmi Rocket’. “

When Rashmi Rocket will release
Rashmi Rocket will release on Zee5 on October 15 on the occasion of Dussehra. It stars Abhishek Banerjee, Priyanshu Painyuli and Supriya Pathak in pivotal roles. Questions have been raised about the gender test of the athlete in the film.
