Actress Swara Bhasker has received death threats that mention Veer Savarkar. Swara Bhasker has received this threat through a letter. Mumbai Police has started investigation after receiving the threat.
An official gave this information on Wednesday. The official said the letter was sent to the actress’s residence in Versova. After receiving the letter, Swara Bhasker approached Versova police station two days ago and lodged a complaint against unknown persons, the official said.
“Based on the complaint, we have registered a non-cognizable offense against unknown persons,” he said, adding that the investigation is on. In the letter written in Hindi, it has been said that the youth of the country will not tolerate the insult of Veer Savarkar.
Actress Swara Bhasker has given her reaction on the murder of tailor Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur. Bhasker had tweeted and wrote, “Despicable and utterly condemnable.. The perpetrators should be dealt with promptly and strictly, as per law! Heinous crime.. Unjustifiable! As one often says.. if you want to kill in the name of your God, start with yourself! Sick sick monsters!”
