SP leader Mohsin Ansari has been arrested by the police for sharing a picture of litchi. In fact, the police say that Mohsin has hurt the sentiments of a particular religion through this post.
Mohsin has been accused of allegedly cutting litchi in half and displaying its seed as a Shivling on his Facebook account and asked that what is inside the litchi should be investigated. This whole matter is related to the Gyanvapi Masjid dispute.
Actually, the well of Wajookhana located inside the Gyanvapi Mosque is being told as Shivling. With this news, there is a different enthusiasm among the people of the Hindu side who have filed a case on this issue, while on the other hand the Muslim side is expressing its concern and calling it a baseless claim.
Police Officer Kuldeep Singh said that SP leader Mohsin Ansari was arrested from Ekta Vihar area. Singh said that the SP leader is accused of making/ objectionable remarks about Shivling on WhatsApp.
Ansari has also been the state secretary of Samajwadi Party Lohia Vahini. Singh said that in this case that a case has been registered in the city police station on the complaint of police sub-inspector Jitendra Kumar.
