Social media users demand arrest of Arnab Goswami and Republic TV employees for ‘supporting Taliban’

#RepublicWithTaliban has been trending on micro-blogging website Twitter since Sunday morning, on which social media users are also giving their reactions fiercely. Twitter users are demanding the arrest of Arnab Goswami and Republic TV employees for ‘supporting the Taliban’ using the hashtag #RepublicWithTaliban.

Let us tell you that a screenshot of a tweet by Republic TV is going viral, in which #RepublicWithTaliban has been used. Republic has now taken down its controversial tweet. In fact, Republic TV reportedly used a hashtag indicating the TV channel’s support for the Taliban.

Republic TV had repeatedly used the hashtag #RepublicWithAfghanistan in its earlier tweets related to the developments in Afghanistan. However, when the controversial TV channel started writing ‘Taliban’ instead of ‘Afghanistan’, social media users started giving strong reactions to it. Who demanded the arrest of Arnab Goswami and employees of Republic TV.
