Shiv Sena workers vandalise ‘Adani Airport’ signboard at Mumbai Airport

The control of Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is now in the hands of the Adani Group and the Shiv Sena has been opposed to it from the beginning. Meanwhile, on Monday, Shiv Sena workers ransacked the airport premises. Actually, the board of Adani Group installed in the airport premises was demolished by Shiv Sena workers. According to the information, more than two dozen Shiv Sena workers barged into the airport premises and broke this board of Adani Group. Shiv Sena has called it an insult to Chhatrapati Shivaji and said that it will not be tolerated.

Demolition at airport gate number 8

Surprisingly, during this time no security personnel was even seen stopping them. However, a team of police reached the spot after the demolition took place. According to the information, Shiv Sena workers have broken the board of Adani Group installed at gate number 8 of the airport. An idol of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is also installed here.

Last month, Mumbai airport was under the control of Adani Group.

Let us tell you that Shiv Sena is angry over the name of Mumbai airport to Adani since this decision was taken. In July, the Adani Group took over the control of the airport from the GVK Group. This information was tweeted by Gautam Adani. The Adani Group held about 74 per cent stake in the airport even before it took control.
