Actress Elizabeth Hurley used social media to pay tribute to her ex-fiancé Shane Warne. The 56-year-old English actress took to Instagram on March 5 to share photos of special moments from the pair’s relationship. She captioned the post, “I feel like the sun has gone behind a cloud forever. RIP my beloved Lionheart @shanewarne23.”
Elizabeth and Shane started dating in 2010. But heir relationship became known in 2010 when photos of them kissing appeared in the media, and the famous athlete then took to Twitter and announced that he and his ex-wife Simone Callahan , with whom he had three children, had broken up.
The couple had been in a relationship for three years. They got engaged in 2011 and began living together. Then, later in 2013, they announced their separation.
In an interview after his separation from Hurley, Warne opened up on their relationship, revealing that there was no bad blood between them. The Australian spinner had revealed that nobody was wrong, instead, their romance just ‘fizzed out’.
Even after their break-up, Shane Warne and Liz Hurley remained ‘good friends’ and stayed in touch with each other.
