Saudi Arabia has warned its citizens that they will be banned from traveling for 3 years if they travel to countries included in the ‘red list’ of the corona virus. Countries included in the Red List include India, Pakistan, United Arab Emirates etc.
Saudi Arabia’s state-run news agency SPA gave this information on Tuesday, citing unnamed sources in the Ministry of Home Affairs. He told that in the month of May, some Saudi citizens were allowed to go abroad without the permission of the authorities for the first time since March 2020 but they had violated the travel rules. Officials said that if anyone now violates the travel rules, then legal action will be taken against him.

Saudi Arabia has banned its citizens from visiting or transiting countries like India, Indonesia, Pakistan, South Africa, UAE, Turkey etc. The official said, ‘The Ministry of Home Affairs has insisted that Saudi citizens in these countries go directly, through another country, to countries where the corona pandemic is not under controlled or where the new strain is spreading. Yes, there is a ban on travel.’
