Rupee in ventilator under PM Modi’s rule, hits record low of Rs 82.33 against Dollar

Rupee continues to plumb against the dollar. Every day the rupee is making new records for falling. Today the rupee opened with a fall of 32 paise at Rs 82.20. After this, there was a fall in the rupee again and then it reached the lowest level ever at Rs 82.33. For the first time the rupee has reached this low.

Earlier on Thursday, the rupee opened with strength at 81.52 level. But the strengthening of the dollar showed pressure on the rupee. The rupee also saw a high of 81.51 and a low of 82.17 during trading. In the end, the rupee closed at 82.17 per dollar, down 55 paise against the previous trading session.

The rupee slipped against the dollar for the first time on July 20 and closed above 80 at 80.05. The rupee has depreciated 9.50 per cent so far this year. The depreciation of the rupee can increase the difficulties of the common people. The weakening of the rupee will have an impact on the economy. Crude oil will get expensive. In such a situation, inflation in the country will also increase. At the same time, from traveling abroad to treatment, it can be expensive. Studying abroad will also be expensive.
