Pradeep Sangwan, who made an impact through his fast bowling in the Under-19 World Cup in 2008, was the first to be selected in the Under-19 Players Draft for Delhi’s team. Sangwan made his debut for Gujarat Titans on Saturday and dismissed RCB captain Faf du Plessis in his very first over. Du Plessis faced four balls from Sangwan and was caught behind the wicket by Wriddhiman Saha.
Virat-Patidar partnership broke
Sangwan then broke the 99-run partnership between Virat Kohli and Rajat Patidar for the second wicket by dismissing Patidar. Patidar scored 52 off 32 balls and was caught by Shubman Gill off Sangwan. Sangwan took 2 for 19 in his 4 overs and managed to make a comeback in the IPL after four years.
