Ravish Kumar denies reports of his resignation from NDTV, says ‘…just like the rumor that PM Narendra Modi has agreed’

Social media is in turmoil after Adani bought about 29% stake in NDTV. Various memes are being shared about NDTV and Ravish Kumar. Some are calling it the end of journalism and some are the end of anti-national forces. BJP supporters are the ones who are rejoicing most on the news.

However, in the midst of all this, a rumour was spread that Ravish Kumar has resigned from NDTV. Right Wing propaganda website OPIndia, infamous for spreading fake news, reported citing its sources.

Now Ravish Kumar, himself has denied reports of him exiting the channel. Further, he has no plans of joining Zee either. Ravish Kumar on Wednesday put out a tweet denying the reports of his resignation from NDTV.

Honorable People,
The talk about my resignation is just like the rumor that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has agreed to give me an interview and Akshay Kumar is waiting for me at the gate with Bombay mangoes.
Yours,
ravish Kumar,
The world’s first and most expensive zero TRP anchor

This comes in after NDTV stated that Adani group had announced the acquisition of 29.18 per cent stake in the channel earlier today without the consent of the founders or promoters of New Delhi Television. A notice has been served upon them by Vishwapradhan Commercial (VCPL), which owns warrants of NDTV shareholder RRPR for the same.
