Akshay Kumar’s period drama film Samrat Prithviraj flopped people started attacking him all round. Recently, director Chandraprakash Dwivedi bluntly said that he had not even written the story for Akshay. Filmmaker Aditya Chopra also blamed Khiladi Kumar for Samrat Prithviraj’s box-office disaster. Now it was the turn of Rocketry actor R Madhavan, who has also taunted Akshay Kumar in gestures for settling the film soon.
Recently Akshay Kumar had said that he finishes his films within 40 to 45 days. Samrat Prithviraj was also completed in 42 days. And because of this, he could not even put on a real mustache. This was considered a big reason behind the film getting flopped.
Now R Madhavan took a jibe at the superstar on his ’40-45 days shoot’ statement. Speaking to the media during the promotion of his upcoming release Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, Madhavan said that films take time.
R Madhavan said, “Films like RRR, and Pushpa have been made in over a year. There are actors like Allu Arjun who devoted themselves completely to this project. He further added that the actors who act in these films have time, and they haven’t finished in months. It didn’t take long for people to understand where R Madhavan was pointing.
Netizens were quick to identify that Madhavan was actually taking an indirect dig at Khiladi Kumar’s recent revelation of his shoot schedule.
