Punjab’s famous actor Deep Sidhu has died in a road accident. This accident happened near Kundli Manesar ie KMP Expressway. Deep Sidhu was returning from Delhi to Punjab with his companions.
Deep came into the limelight during the farmers’ movement against the agricultural reform laws of the central government. He was also made accused in the violence that took place at the Red Fort on January 26 last year. Deep Sidhu was also arrested in this case. At the same time, Sidhu was also campaigning for Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar President Simranjit Singh Mann from Amargarh in Punjab elections.
Preliminary information has revealed that Deep Sidhu’s Scorpio Kundli collided with a trolley standing on Manesar Highway. After which Deep Sidhu died. Deep was driving the car when the accident happened. He was accompanied by his female friend. The name of the female friend is Reena and she is from America. The said woman has been taken to Kharkhonda Hospital in Sonipat. Her condition is said to be stable now.
Born in April 1984 in Muktsar district of Punjab, Deep Sidhu started his career with modeling. Deep studied law. He was the winner of the Kingfisher Model Hunt. Also won the title of Mr. Personality in Mr. India contest. His first Punjabi film ‘Ramta Jogi’ was released in the year 2015. However, Deep rose to fame with the 2018 film Jora Das Numbariya, in which he played a gangster.
Earlier during the farmers’ protest, Deep Sidhu was not given a chance to speak on the Delhi border by the prominent leaders of farmer organizations. Deep has been questioning the decisions of these farmer leaders through social media. He came into the limelight during the farmers’ movement when he was arguing with a police officer in English. After which there was a lot of discussion about him.
