‘Practise what you preach’: P Chidambaram digs at PM Modi’s G7 speech

Senior Congress leader P Chidambaram on Monday took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In the G-7 summit, PM Narendra Modi emphasized on democracy and ideological freedom. Taking a dig at this sermon of PM Modi, P Chidambaram said that the preaching given by the Modi government at the center to the whole world should be followed by itself first. Senior Congress leader P Chidambaram, while tweeting from his Twitter account, wrote that PM Modi’s speech at the G-7 outreach meeting was inspiring as well as ironic. The teachings that the Modi government gives to the world should first be implemented in India.

The Congress leader has claimed that it is sad that PM Modi was the only guest who was not directly present at the outreach meeting. Ask yourself, why? Because as far as the fight against the coronavirus is concerned, India’s position is different among many countries of the world. We are the country with the highest number of infected and the least number of immunizations in proportion to the population.
