PM Modi on ‘Parivarvad’: Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with President Ram Nath Kovind, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the President’s village Parakh in Kanpur Dehat later this afternoon.
While addressing a public meeting, PM Modi while speaking about dynast in politics said, “It is Parivarvad familyism which not only in politics, but also strangles talents in every field, prevents them from moving forward. I see that people who fit my interpretation of familism are angry with me. In every nook and corner of the country, these family members are uniting against me. They are also angry that why the youth of the country is taking Modi’s words against familyism so seriously.”

PM Modi further said, “I want to tell these people not to misinterpret my words. I have no personal resentment towards any political party or any person. I want that there should be a strong opposition in the country, there should be political parties dedicated to democracy.”
“The sons and daughters of poor people living in villages must also get the opportunity to rise to the positions of Prime Minister and President. Hence, it is important to stop the parties from doing nepotism,” he further stated.
Earlier on Friday, President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Pathri Mata temple at Paraunkh village in Kanpur. They performed puja to Pathri Devi, a deity widely revered in the village.
