PM Modi and Amit Shah making Kashmiri Pandits scapegoat: There is huge resentment among Kashmiri Pandits about Rahul Bhatt being killed by terrorists. 350 government employed Kashmiri Pandits resigned on Friday to protest the killing. Whereas Rahul Bhatt’s wife has accused PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah of making Kashmiri Pandits scapegoats.

All the Kashmiri Pandits who sent the resignation to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha are employees of the Prime Minister’s package. They say that they are feeling unsafe in the Valley after the killing of government employee Rahul Bhatt by terrorists.

According to media reports, Rahul Bhatt’s wife Meenakshi said, “PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are making Kashmiri Pandits as scapegoats for their politics. I challenge them to come to Kashmir and roam without security. Kashmiri Pandits are being harassed and the whole country is silent.” She told that the situation in Kashmir is very bad. There is no security for Kashmiri Pandits.

Earlier, Kashmiri Pandits blocked the Jammu-Akhnoor old highway on Friday morning. During this, they raised slogans against PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Police took eight Kashmiri Pandits into custody. At the same time, four people were injured in the lathi charge of the police. During the protest, the police also fired tear gas shells to prevent the protesters from going towards the airport.

While commenting on the government, senior Shiv Sena leader and MP Sanjay Raut said that reciting Hanuman Chalisa and removing the loudspeaker will not solve the issues faced by the Kashmiri Pandits. If this problem is to be ended, then the central government will have to take tough decisions. He said that till how long will you keep pointing fingers towards Pakistan and blaming it.
