The Enforcement Directorate has filed a 7,000-page chargesheet against conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, wife actress Leena Maria Paul and six others in a money laundering case of Rs 200 crore. According to the chargesheet, Sukesh Chandrashekhar revealed that he has given gifts worth crores to actress Jacqueline Fernandez.
According to Sukesh, his conversation with actress Jacqueline started from January 2021. During this, he gave gifts worth crores to Jacqueline including 52 lakh horse and 36 lakh 4 Persian cat. Sukesh revealed that he also sent money to Jacqueline’s family members. The name of Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi has also been mentioned in the ED chargesheet. Nora Fatehi has also been told to gift an expensive car.
Earlier, after being named in the money laundering case, Nora Fatehi had issued a statement and presented her side. The actress had claimed that she was not a part of any money laundering activity. She said that she herself is a victim in this case. So being a witness, she is cooperating and helping the authorities in the investigation. In her statement, she clarified that she has not been a part of any money laundering activity. Also she has no personal relationship with the accused. However, according to reports, Nora Fatehi attended an event after an invitation received by Sukesh Chandrasekhar’s wife Leena Maria Paul. Here she was given a luxury car as a gift at this event.
