NDTV’s senior journalist Kamal Khan has passed away. It is being told that he died due to a heart attack. Kamal Khan was the Executive Editor of NDTV’s Uttar Pradesh Bureau.
He was honored with many awards for the unique journalism done by Kamal Khan. He was also honored with the Ramnath Goenka Award, one of the most prestigious awards in India in the field of journalism. He was also honored with the Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Award by the President of India.
On the death of Kamal Khan, NDTV has written, “Our favorite Kamal Khan, who has done heart-touching journalism for three decades, today left us all in eternal mourning. This is a time of deep mourning for all of us.”
NDTV also said, “Today is an irreparable loss to the NDTV family, the heart of our Lucknow bureau, veteran journalist Kamal Khan passed away unexpectedly this morning. Kamal’s reportage was of a different kind in previous decades, And he conveyed difficult truths with poetic mastery. Above all, he was a wonderful human being who touched the lives of all who knew him. Our heartfelt condolences to his family and prayers for his departed soul.”
