While sharing the letter, Nawab Malik wrote that, “This is the content of the letter written to me by an unnamed NCB officer. As a responsible citizen, I am sending this letter to the Director General Narcotics. I request him to include the letter in the investigation against Sameer Wankhede.”

What is written in the letter?
This letter has been written addressing Nawab Malik. In this, the events after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput have been told. The letter mentions from Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana to Home Minister Amit Shah. Many serious allegations have been made in the letter. It starts like this-

“I am an employee of Narcotics Control Bureau. I am working in Mumbai office for last two years. Last year, when the NCB was entrusted with the investigation from the drug angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, the SIT was formed by the last Director General Rakesh Asthana. In this, his disciple Kamal Preet Singh Malhotra was made in charge. Along with him, Sameer Wankhede, working in the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), Mumbai, was also brought. He was joined at the behest of Home Minister Amit Shah on the post of Zonal Director in NCB Mumbai.

Rakesh Asthana, who is known to all how honest officer is, ordered Sameer Wankhede and KPS Malhotra to make a case against Bollywood actors by implicating them in drug cases by any other means. KPS Malhotra and Sameer Wankhede demanded crores of rupees from these artists, and also gave share to Rakesh Asthana by collecting crores of rupees. “

The names of many Bollywood actors have also been taken in the letter. It has been claimed in the letter that how the recovery was made from Deepika Padukone, Karishma Prakash, Shraddha Kapoor, Rakulpreet Singh, Sara Ali Khan, Bharti Singh, Harsh Limbachiyaa, Rhea Chakraborty, Souvik Chakraborty and Arjun Rampal. It has also been alleged that the work of collecting this money was done by lawyer Ayaz Khan.

Ayaz Khan is friends with Sameer Wankhede. Because of this, he can come to the NCB office without any restriction. It is Ayaz that gives Sameer Wankhede a monthly extortion from Bollywood. In return, when Sameer Wankhede catches any Bollywood artist, he asks Ayaz Khan to be his lawyer. It has also been written at one place in the letter that how Armaan Kohli, who participated in Bigg Boss, was sent to jail after keeping 1 gram of drugs at his house.

In this letter, Sameer Wankhede has been described as an officer hungry to get attention. This is the reason why he targets high profile people. The letter contains a long list of cases in which Wankhede allegedly falsely implicated people. These include the case of getting drugs on the cruise. Regarding the cruise case, it has been written in the letter alleging that,

“In case number 94/2021 done against Cordelia Cruz, all the Panchnamas were written in the office of NCB Mumbai. At the behest of BJP, two of their workers in connivance with Sameer Wankhede set up a drug plant. On the cruise, NCB employees took drugs by hiding in their luggage. Taking a chance, he kept it in the personal belongings of the people. When Sameer Wankhede finds a Bollywood model or celebrity during a search or operation, he forces her to make a case by keeping drugs. The same has happened in this case as well.

Sameer has been in touch with both the BJP workers (KP Gosavi and Manish Bhanushali) for the past one month. All the men who were caught from the cruise were brought to the NCB office and all the panchnamas were made sitting in the NCB office. But Rishabh Sachdev, Prateek Gaba and Amir Furniturewala were let off the same night on a call from Delhi. In this case, the phone call details of Sameer Wankhede can be checked.

It is also written in the letter that the officer who does not support Sameer Wankhede is suspended. Four officers have been suspended for not cooperating in such incidents.

Sameer Wankhede has called the letter shared by Nawab Malik a joke and a lie. India Today quoted Sameer Wankhede as saying that whatever Nawab Malik has to do, whatever is written in the letter is a lie.
