Mumbai Police may soon summon Mumbai NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede for questioning. After Wankhede’s allegations of espionage, an officer of the rank of Additional Commissioner in the Mumbai Police Commissioner was ordered to investigate the matter. According to Sameer Wankhede, two Mumbai policemen had taken CCTV footage from his graveyard in this context. Wankhede often visits the cemetery where his mother’s grave is.
Meanwhile, the Narcotics Control Bureau said that the Mumbai Police has increased the number of bodyguards and armed personnel guarding Sameer Wankhede. Police deployment outside the NCB office has also been increased.

Sources told that as soon as their picture came in the media, both of them were questioned by their senior officers. During interrogation, both told that they did not remember when this photo was from and they do not even remember why they had gone there.
