MP: A passenger full bus falls in Narmada, 12 killed, many injured; Rescue operation underway

Bus falls in Narmada: A tragic news from Dhar of Madhya Pradesh. Here a passenger bus has fallen into the Narmada river at Khalghat, located on the border of Dhar-Khargone. 12 people have died in the accident. The bus was going from Indore to Pune. As soon as the information was received, the administrative officials reached the spot.

Many ministers including Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Home Minister Narottam Mishra have expressed grief over this accident. Chief Minister Chouhan immediately took cognizance of the bus accident. The reasons for the incident are not yet known.

Let us tell you that as soon as the information about the bus fell into the ditch, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan instructed the administration to reach the spot at the earliest. The rescue operation of the bus and the people trapped in it was started. The Chief Minister also directed to send SDRF on the spot. He directed to arrange for proper treatment of the injured. He is in constant touch with Khargone, Indore district administration.

Home Minister Narottam Mishra said on the Khalghat incident that 40 people were in the bus. 12 have died. The rescue operation is going on after the incident. SDRF team is engaged in the rescue. The bus was going from Indore to Pune. The accident happened on the Agra-Mumbai highway.
