The film ‘Brahmastra’ starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt has finally been released in theatres. The film is getting good response in theaters so far. However, a section is also running a campaign to boycott this film on social media. Some people from Bollywood are also involved in this campaign. One of them is Vivek Agnihotri, the director of ‘The Kashmir Files’ who had targeted the film without naming it.
However, now after 3 days of box office collection figures, on the contrary, Vivek has come under attack on social media.
According to the recent reports, ‘Brahmastra’ has earned around Rs 160 crore at the domestic box office and a total of Rs 225 worldwide. After this, Vivek Agnihotri, who taunted ‘Brahmastra’, has come under the target of people on social media.
In fact, on Sunday morning, Vivek tweeted without naming the earnings of ‘Brahmastra’ as false, writing, “हमको मालूम है जन्नत की हक़ीक़त लेकिन दिल के ख़ुश रखने को ‘ग़ालिब’ ये ख़याल अच्छा है। (We know the reality of paradise but The thought of ‘Ghalib’ is good to keep the heart happy)”.
Vivek used #Bollywood and #Gross with this tweet, which made people guess who he was pointing towards.
Vivek Agnihotri, who gets support everytime on social media, this time did not go well for him. Actually this time people started trolling him badly for his tweet.
