Arrest warrant against BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga: The Mohali court in Punjab has issued an arrest warrant against Delhi BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga. The court has asked the cyber crime station in-charge to arrest Bagga and present him in the court on the next hearing. The order was given by the court of Judicial Magistrate Ravitesh Inderjit Singh.
Punjab Police said that on May 1, an FIR was registered against Tajinder Pal Bagga by the Police Station Punjab State Crime, SAS Nagar on a complaint of inciting violence, criminal intimidation, posting false and communally provocative posts on social media. An FIR has been registered against him under sections 153A, 505, 502(2), 506 of the IPC. The court has fixed March 23, 2022 for the next hearing in the matter.
Let us inform that on the morning of Friday 6 May, Punjab Police reached Bagga’s Janakpuri residence. After this, Bagga was being arrested and taken to Punjab. A few hours later, Haryana Police stopped Punjab Police in Kurukshetra and then Delhi Police brought Bagga back to Delhi. High voltage drama went on throughout the day.
After the arrest of the BJP leader, his father Preetpal Singh went to the Janakpuri police station and lodged a complaint regarding the assault on him and the alleged kidnapping of Tajinder, due to which the Delhi Police immediately swung into action. After contacting Haryana Police, the Punjab Police, which was carrying Bagga, was stopped in Kurukshetra.
Bagga’s father Preetpal Singh said that now it has been proved that they want to wrap Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga under one pretext or the other. They will not come under Kejriwal’s cloak and will remain in front of them in the form of terror. Delhi Police is providing us security. Delhi Police is present here in Janakpuri, they will be with us in all legal action and we will cooperate with them. Tajinder will fight for the law.
