A tweet by a veteran leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party created a stir in the BJP. Actually the BJP leader Subramanian Swamy has attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Swamy has compared Narendra Modi to Ravana. Senior BJP leader said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi claims himself to be religious but he is destroying temples, occupying temples.
Subramanian Swamy tweeted, comparing PM Modi to Ravana, “Modi like Ravan while claiming to be religious is demolishing or grabbing temples as in Varanasi, in Uttarakhand, and now we find he is planning with Fadnavis to destruct the holy sites of Pandharpur. Hence I am approaching High Court in Mumbai soon to stop this carnage.”
During the campaign in Gujarat, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge was also accused of comparing PM Modi with Ravana, after which the BJP called it an insult to Gujarat and Gujaratis.
It is being said that both the Ram and Krishna temples built by Ahilyabai Holkar and Baijabai Shinde in Pandharpur are about to be demolished due to the Pandharpur corridor project. The former Rajya Sabha MP of BJP is angry with this and has made up his mind to go to the court.
