Manchester United is about to fine Cristiano Ronaldo one million pounds (about Rs 9.27 crore). According to the news of the Daily Star, Manchester United boss Eric ten Haag is deeply angry with his star player. Not only this, the star footballer has also been ruled out of the match against Chelsea on Saturday. This decision has also been taken by team manager Eric Ten Haag.

In fact, on Wednesday 19 October 2022, Cristiano Ronaldo was not selected in Manchester United’s playing XI in the match against Tottenham Hotspur. This made Ronaldo angry. He had gone to the dressing room before the match was over.

Cristiano Ronaldo did not even tell the match officials about going to the dressing room early. According to the rules of football, any player can enter the dressing room during the match only after telling the officials.

Ronaldo wrote in a post shared on social media, “As I have always done in my career, I try to give respect and play to my colleagues, my opponents and my coaches. This thing still hasn’t changed. I haven’t changed either. I am the same person who has been playing football with respect for the last 20 years.”

Cristiano Ronaldo also said in the post, “I think I have to keep working hard. To support your comrades. In any sport you have to be prepared for everything. For Manchester United must unite. We will be together again soon.”

However, Manchester United easily won the match against Tottenham Hotspur despite Cristiano Ronaldo not playing. Manchester United beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-0. Fred and Bruno Fernandes scored 1-1 for him.
