According to a report in InsideSport, Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have complained to the BCCI about the RPSG group-backed Lucknow franchise that they approached KL Rahul and Rashid Khan and asked to leave their current IPL team. As per reports, the RPSG-backed new Lucknow franchise reportedly offered over Rs 20 crore to KL Rahul to leave Punjab Kings. They also offered Rs 16 crore to Rashid Khan of Sunrisers Hyderabad. SRH are looking at the possibility of retaining the Afghan spinner but don’t want to pay more than Rs 12 crore. Rashid Khan currently gets Rs 9 crore while Rahul gets Rs 11 crore.
