Karnataka minister Ramesh Jarkiholi of BJP caught in ‘Sex for Job’ tape, video goes viral

A sex CD has created a ruckus in Karnataka politics. In this CD, Karnataka Water Resources Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi is allegedly seen with a woman. Social activist Dinesh Kallahalli released the CD alleging that Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi sexually exploited the woman in the name of getting a job. Ramesh Jarkiholi has resigned as minister on Wednesday after the uproar.

Dinesh Kallahalli, a social worker and chairman of the Citizen Haqku Horata Committee, said that the family of the woman approached her to demand justice. The family members of the woman have alleged that the minister sexually harassed the woman in the name of getting her a job in Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL). The minister later retracted his promise.

Dinesh Kallahalli met Police Commissioner Kamal Pant on Tuesday in connection with the CD, where he has been asked to lodge a complaint with Kabban Park Police. Kallahalli said, “I met the lawyer in this regard. The lawyer advised to meet the police commissioner and asked him to hand over the CD. We want the truth of this matter to be revealed. ”

Ramesh Jarkiholi resigns

Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi, accused in the sex CD scandal, wrote a letter to the Chief Minister resigning from the post of minister. It said, “The allegations against me have nothing to do with the truth. There should be a fair investigation into the matter. I am resigning on moral grounds.” ‘Earlier, Jarakiholi said that this is a political conspiracy against me. This CD is fake. It should be thoroughly investigated. A case should be registered against the culprits. He does not know anyone.

After the CD surfaced, the Congress staged a sit-in protest in Bengaluru demanding the resignation of Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi. Congress leader and former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had said that Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa should take Ramesh Jarkiholi’s resignation with immediate effect and file an FIR in the matter. Karnataka Deputy CM CN Ashwath Narayan said, “We have seen many cases of honeytrap and blackmailing by making such videos under the conspiracy. The truth will be revealed after investigation. After that action will be taken. ”

Action will be taken after investigation
Karnataka Home Minister B Bommai said that action is being taken on the basis of the complaint. Investigation is being done as per law. Our party will decide on Ramesh Jarkiholi.

Union Minister said, shameful
On this matter, Union Minister Prahlad Joshi said, “We cannot come to any conclusion, we need to know the truth.” If it is true, it is shameful. We leaders need to be morally right. This is the policy of the BJP. ”
