Congress leader Kanhaiya Kumar yet again praised on social media for roasting BJP leader during the TV debate. In the ‘Chaupal’ show of News18, BJP leader Ram Kadam asked Kanhaiya Kumar to say ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’, in response, Kanhaiya challenged Ram Kadam to say ‘Godse Murdabad’.
However, the BJP leader did not say ‘Godse Murdabad’ even after Kanhaiya’s constant pressure. A video related to this of Kanhaiya Kumar and BJP leader Ram Kadam is also becoming fiercely viral on social media.
While on the show, Ram Kadam tried to play BJP’s pseudo nationalism card on Kanhaiya Kumar and asked, “Do you say ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’?
After this Kanhaiya Kumar stopped Ram Kadam and started grilling the BJP leader. Kanhaiya said, “Till now I was talking to him respectfully, now that you have awakened the Bihari inside me.You have a great passion for becoming a Sambit Patra, don’t you? When Sambit asked the same question, I gave him the answer and do you want to know what my answer was?”
Kanhaiya Kumar then challenged the BJP MLA and asked, “Do you believe in Gandhi or Godse?” To which BJP MLA said, “Of course we believe in Gandhi”. Now Kanhaiya asked, “Then say Godse Murdabad”.
Hearing Kanhaiya’s response, the BJP leader in a fumbling tone said, “The work Godse has done is condemnable. When did we say Godse Zindabad?” To his point, Kanhaiya Kumar replied, “It has always been said, if it is not so, then say ‘Godse Murdabad’. Why are you afraid, will you be suspended from the party.”
Kanhaiya Kumar did not stop here, he further said while replying to the BJP leader, “The way you have freedom of expression, in the same way I have my freedom of expression of saying ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’. Why would we say on your order? Who has given you this tender?”
This video of former JNUSU president and BJP leader Ram Kadam is becoming fiercely viral on social media. Sharing this video of Kanhaiya Kumar and Ram Kadam, now Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker has also quipped. Sharing the video on her Twitter handle, Swara wrote, “But could not say ‘Godse Murdabad’.”
