Kangana Ranaut’s tone changes after Pathaan’s blockbuster opening, Says-‘Aisi films chalni chahiye’

After her ban on Twitter was lifted on the day of the release of “Pathaan,” actress Kangana Ranaut made controversial statements about the film industry and the people within it. However, at an event for her upcoming film “Emergency,” she was asked about Shah Rukh Khan’s “Pathaan” and gave praise for the film. This has caused backlash from some netizens who perceive her as having double standards and calling her unflattering names. Others believe that Ranaut’s recent string of flops has led her to praise Khan as a means of survival in Bollywood.

Talking to the media, Kangana said, “Pathaan acha kar rahi hai. Aisi films chalni chahiye aur I feel ki jo hamare Hindi cinema wale piche reh gaye hain, har insaan apne level pe koshish kar raha hai (Pathaan is doing very well. I feel films like this should definitely work. Hindi cinema has been lagging behind other film industries, and we are all trying to finally bring back the business in our own little way).”

The release of Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback film Pathaan was met with great excitement from his fans and the film industry alike. Many praised the film, but Kangana Ranaut’s lack of support for the film caused some to question her motives.

Social media users expressed mixed reactions to Kangana Ranaut’s recent comments about Shah Rukh Khan’s film Pathaan. Some criticized her for praising the movie after previously calling for a boycott, while others mocked her for changing her stance.

The film “Pathaan,” starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, has broken all records by earning more than 100 crore worldwide. In India, the film has earned around 54 crore and is projected to surpass the 100 crore mark within just three days, according to trade experts.

Kangana had previously expressed her frustration with Bollywood’s focus on financial success in a series of tweets, which some interpreted as a subtle critique of the blockbuster success of Shah Rukh Khan’s film Pathaan.

Kangana’s access to Twitter was restored recently after being suspended for multiple violations of the platform’s policies on abusive and hateful behavior in the past.
